Application Process for Stevens Institute of Technology

Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

• Letters of Recommendation (LOR): You need to submit 2 letters of recommendation. One should be from a teacher and the other from a guidance counselor.
• Essays: All applicants must submit an essay as part of their application.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

• Official High School Transcripts: Provide your certified high school transcripts. If they are not in English, include a certified translation.
• English Proficiency Scores: You need to submit your English language test scores.
• Stevens Financial Verification Form: Complete this form as part of your application.
• SAT Scores: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the SAT requirement is suspended for Fall 2021 first-year student applicants.

Fill out the online application form on the Common App platform.

Step Four: Application Fees

The application fee is USD 70 (approximately INR 5.9 Thousand).

Payment Methods: You can pay using a credit card or wire transfer.

Installment Payment Plans:

• Spring: 5 payment plan from December 1 to April 1; 4 payment plan from January 1 to April 1. Last day to enroll is January 17.
• Summer: 4 payment plan from May 1 to August 1; 3 payment plan from June 1 to August 1. Last day to enroll is May 31.
• Fall: 5 payment plan from July 1 to November 1; 4 payment plan from August 1 to November 1. Last day to enroll is September 13.

The payment plan is interest-free, with a $50 enrollment fee charged per semester.

Step Five: Application Deadline

The application deadline for Fall is January 15.
