Students must complete both year X and XII state board or CBSE exams with an average of at least 70%. They need to finish 15 long academic courses with a GPA of 3.4. This includes: 2 years of history (which can be from their own country), 4 years of writing and literature in their main language, 3 years of math covering algebra and geometry, 2 years of science (biology, chemistry, or physics), 2 years of a second language, 1 year of visual and performing arts, and 1 more course from the subjects listed.
