Each prerequisite should be a full course, either a quarter or semester, and at least three units. Online courses are acceptable if from an accredited school. Advanced Placement scores from high school do not count as prerequisites. If you have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited university, you do not need to take any prerequisite courses. If you have an Associate Degree in Nursing with a bachelor's in another field, you must complete all required prerequisite courses. All prerequisite courses must be passed with a grade of C or better, including human anatomy with lab, human physiology with lab, chemistry with lab, microbiology or bacteriology with lab, English composition, and two social science courses.
