Master of Professional Accountancy (STEM) at University of California, Irvine (UCI)

The University of California, Irvine (UCI) offers a one-year Master of Professional Accountancy (STEM) program. This program is designed to prepare students for successful careers in accounting and related fields. The tuition fee for this program is $57,780. To gain admission to the UCI Master of Professional Accountancy (STEM), students must demonstrate their English language skills. The accepted tests for English proficiency are the IELTS and TOEFL.

Applicants must have the equivalent of a four-year US Bachelor's degree. Required courses include Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting, ideally taken at a four-year university or community college. Additional accounting courses are encouraged but not required. Suggested electives include Corporate and Partnership Taxation, Accounting Information Systems, Advanced Accounting, Cost Accounting, and International Accounting. If students do not meet the requirements to start in the fall, they can enroll in an intensive summer pre-session to complete the necessary coursework.
