Application Process for the University of Central Florida

Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

• Letter of Recommendation (LOR): You need one letter of recommendation from a professional or academic source. It is better if this letter comes from a current or former supervisor. Personal recommendations are not accepted.
• CV: Submit your resume.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

• Goal Statement: Write a goal statement of 500 to 1,000 words. Please answer these questions: How will getting a master’s degree help you achieve your short-term career goals (in the next 3-5 years)? How do your past experiences and achievements connect to your interest and ability for graduate study in accounting?
• English Language Proficiency Scores: Provide proof of your English language skills.
• Financial Documentation: Include documents that show your financial support.
• Copy of Passport: Submit a copy of your passport.
• Affidavit of Support: If applicable, provide an affidavit of support.
• Proof of Immunization: Include proof that you have received required vaccinations.
• Official Transcripts: Submit one official transcript in a sealed envelope from each college or university you have attended. If your documents are in a language other than English, include a certified translation in English along with the original documents.
