Biomedical Sciences (MS) at University of Central Florida

The University of Central Florida (UCF) offers a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences (MS) through its College of Medicine. This program lasts for 18 months and has a tuition fee of USD 22,516. To apply for the Biomedical Sciences (MS) program, students must prove their English language skills. UCF accepts IELTS and TOEFL tests for this purpose. Additionally, students need a minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 to be eligible for admission.

If you have a graduate or professional degree in a related field, that is also accepted. If your bachelor’s degree is in an unrelated field, you need to have completed 16 semester hours in biological sciences, including courses in general microbiology, biochemistry, or molecular biology, plus one year each of organic chemistry, physics, basic university mathematics, and statistics, along with laboratory skills. Minor gaps in these requirements can be fixed by taking the necessary courses after being accepted.

• Credential evaluations are accepted only from World Education Services (WES) or Josef Silny and Associates, Inc.
• English Language Proficiency Scores: Include your scores.
• Financial Documentation: Provide proof of your financial support.
• Copy of your passport.
• Affidavit of support, if applicable.
• Proof of immunization.
• A written statement about your research experience, area of interest, and your short-term and long-term goals.

Step Four: Application Fees

• The application fee is USD 31, which is approximately INR 2.61 Thousand.
• You can pay using a credit card or debit card.
• Payment Plan: The university offers a two-payment plan. You can pay 50% of your tuition and fees plus $15 by the original payment deadline.
• This payment is made through the “Tuition Payment Plan” link on your myUCF account.
• The remaining 50% will be added to your fee invoice after you enroll in the payment plan.
