Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

• Letters of Recommendation (LOR) Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation. These letters should come from faculty members, university administrators, or employers who have supervised the applicant. The letters must be recent and specific to this application, not for another program. They should discuss the applicant's educational and career goals. The writers should know the applicant well enough to talk about their ability to succeed in a graduate program. For Master’s thesis students, the letters should also mention the applicant's capacity for graduate-level research.
• Curriculum Vitae (CV) Applicants need to submit a resume or CV.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

• Official Academic Transcripts All official academic transcripts must be provided. If the documents are not in English, a certified translation into English must be included with the original documents.
• Course-by-Course Credential Evaluation Applicants must have a course-by-course credential evaluation with GPA calculation. This evaluation is accepted only from World Education Services (WES) or Josef Silny and Associates, Inc.
• Goal Statement The goal statement should cover the applicant's professional background and any previous research or teaching experience. It should explain why the applicant wants to pursue a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and discuss future educational and career goals after completing the degree. If the applicant plans to complete a Master’s thesis, they should describe their research interests and identify at least one UCF faculty member who has a similar research focus and could be a potential thesis advisor. The goal statement should be between 500 and 1,000 words.

UCF offers a tuition payment plan where students can pay 50% of their tuition and fees plus a $15 fee by the original payment deadline. The payment must be made through the “Tuition Payment Plan” link on the student’s myUCF account. The remaining 50% of tuition will appear on the student’s fee invoice after they have enrolled in the payment plan.
