• Thematic: This approach organizes the statement around one or two main ideas, often related to the applicant's research area or major interest.

Letters of Recommendation (LOR)

Three letters of recommendation are required. These can be uploaded by the recommender directly into the application form. Each letter must be on official letterhead, include personal contact information, a signature, and the current date. An academic reference is preferred, but a letter from an employer can be helpful if the job relates to the field of study. Each LOR should be between 2/3 of a page and one page long.
