    To be eligible, students must have graduated from a regionally accredited or state accredited high school with an endorsement and completed 22 units, which include: - English (4 units) - Social Studies (3 units) - Science (3 units) - Foreign Language (2 units) - Mathematics (3 units) - Physical Education (1 unit) - Fine Arts (1 unit) - Electives (5 units) Alternatively, students can have a General Education Diploma (GED) with a minimum score of 145 in each of the four tests. They need at least 12 hours of specific courses that count towards their degree plan and an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher. Students must live in Texas or in one of the NC-SARA states. Those enrolling right after high school must: - Rank in the top half of their graduating class with no ACT or SAT scores needed, or - Be in the lower half and score at least 1070 on the SAT or 21 on the ACT, or - Graduate with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
