The University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) offers a Master of Science (M.S.) in Applied Mathematics through its College of Natural and Mathematical Sciences (CNMS). This program lasts for 18 months and is designed for students who wish to deepen their knowledge and skills in mathematics. The tuition fee for this program is $21,205. To be admitted to the Applied Mathematics M.S. program, students must demonstrate their English language proficiency. Accepted tests include IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo, and PTE.

The Applied Mathematics program is aimed at students who want to earn an advanced degree and have already completed a bachelor's or master's degree in mathematics, statistics, or other fields related to math.

The UMBC Monthly Payment Plan (MPP) allows students to pay their fall, spring, and summer semester fees in installments without any interest charges. The charges can be split into:

A small enrollment fee is charged each semester for this plan.
