Application Process for the University of New Hampshire

Step One: Prepare Your Documents

To start your application, you need to gather the following:

• Letters of Recommendation (LOR): You must submit three letters. Please note:
• Letters from family or friends are not allowed.
• Letters must be less than one year old.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

• Academic Transcripts: You need to provide transcripts from every school where you earned a degree, attended for at least one year, or attended for two or more semesters.
• Personal Statement/Essay Questions: Write a brief statement that includes: Your reasons for wanting to pursue graduate work in this field, including your short-term and long-term goals. Your specific research interests and any relevant experiences. A review of the MCBS graduate program faculty research descriptions, naming two or three potential mentors for your studies. This statement must be included with your application.
• ELP Scores: Include your English Language Proficiency scores.
