To be admitted into the program, applicants must have a bachelor's degree in geology from an accredited college or university. If they do not have this degree, they must show enough coursework, training, or experience in geoscience. They must also have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.0 or higher. Additionally, students need to complete 2 semesters of calculus and another math, computer programming, or statistics class during their undergraduate or graduate studies.
