Step 1: Prepare Documents for Application

Statement of Purpose (SOP)

• Submit a Statement of Purpose that explains your motivation for pursuing graduate study, your research interests, and your relevant experience. This should also include faculty research areas that interest you. The SOP should be limited to 1,000 words for the Master of Science in Chemistry.
• For the Master of Science in Economic Development, your SOP should focus on your desire to improve communities through business attraction, retention, and entrepreneurship. Explain why you want to start a career in economic development.

Letters of Recommendation (LOR)

• Three letters of recommendation are required. At least two should come from individuals who can evaluate your academic performance and qualifications for graduate study. It is preferable to have them from a faculty member, especially for the Master of Arts in Political Science.

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

• A résumé is required.

Step 2: Additional Documents Required

• Submit official transcripts and degree certificates or diplomas from all previous colleges or universities attended.
