Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

Statement of Purpose (SOP)

Write a Statement of Purpose (SOP) that explains your motivation for pursuing graduate study, your research interests, and your relevant experience. Mention any faculty research that interests you. Keep it under 1,000 words for the MS in Chemistry program.

For the Master of Science in Economic Development program, explain why you want to pursue this degree and how you plan to start a career in economic development. This program focuses on improving communities through business growth and entrepreneurship.

Letters of Recommendation (LOR)

You need to submit three letters of recommendation. At least two letters should come from people who know your academic work well, such as faculty members. This is especially important for the Master of Arts in Political Science program.

A résumé is required for your application.

The payment plan balance is divided into four equal payments each term, except for summer. The first payment is due when you enroll in the plan.
