Short Essay

The short essay should be between 300 and 750 words. In this essay, discuss your interest and experience in information technology. Explain why you want to pursue the MSIS program at this time in your career and what you hope to achieve during the program. Share your goals after completing the program and how the MSIS degree will help you reach them. Include personal qualities or experiences that make you a strong candidate for the program. Also, explain why you believe the MSIS program at the Eccles School is the right fit for you.

Optional Essay

You may upload an optional essay to address any weaknesses in your academic records or application. It is highly recommended to complete this optional essay if your GPA is below the average accepted score or if you have failed or repeated any courses.

Video Essay

Imagine you are at the MSIS orientation. In 60 seconds, introduce yourself to your classmates and teachers. Include any personal or professional details that you think are important.
