Application Process for Western Michigan University

Western Michigan University offers a payment plan option for each semester. This plan allows students to pay their balance in several installments. A convenience fee of 2.85% or $3, whichever is higher, is added to each credit or debit card transaction.

For the Fall and Spring semesters, there are options for four (4) and six (6) payments. Both plans spread the payments over the semester. For Summer I and Summer II, there is only one payment plan, allowing students to pay in two installments for each session.

Students must enroll at least one day before the first payment is due. Payment plans become available about four to five weeks before the semester starts.
