Letters of Recommendation (LOR)

Three letters of recommendation are needed. These should come from professors the applicant has worked with or had as instructors, or from other professionals who know the applicant well. These letters must be sent directly to the Office of Admissions. Please note that letters uploaded by students or agencies will not be accepted.

Important: The Master of Science in Manufacturing Engineering program does not require letters of recommendation.

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

A resume or CV is required only for the Master of Science in Manufacturing Engineering.

Step Four: Application Fees

The application fee is USD 100 (approximately INR 8.43 Thousand).

Payment can be made using a credit card. Western Michigan University offers a payment plan option for each semester, allowing students to spread the payments over several installments. There is a convenience fee of 2.85% or $3, whichever is higher, for each credit/debit card transaction.

For the Fall and Spring semesters, there are options for four (4) and six (6) payments. Both plans allow payments to be made throughout the semester. For Summer I and Summer II, there is only one payment plan, which allows students to pay in two installments for each session.

Students must enroll at least one day before the first payment is due. Payment plans are available about four to five weeks before the semester starts.

The deadlines for application are as follows:

• Fall (August): April 1
• Spring (January): August 1
• Summer (May): January 15
