Students must have graduated from an approved high school or obtained a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) before starting college. They should have completed the following subjects: 4 units of English, 1 unit of United States history, 1 unit of laboratory science and 1 unit of physics or chemistry (preferably both), and 4 units of mathematics including algebra I, geometry, algebra II, and an extra year beyond algebra II, such as pre-calculus that includes trigonometry.
