The SIA Youth Scholarship is a scholarship programme that provides scholarships to Indian students in Singapore. Students who are studying in junior colleges in India and are interested in applying for this scholarship have the opportunity to do so.

What are the benefits of the Sia Youth Scholarship?

The selected students will receive funding in the following areas:

    What is the eligibility criteria for the Sia Youth Scholarship?

    Students who wish to receive the SIA Youth Scholarship must meet the following criteria in order to be eligible:

  • list items Citizenship: The applicant must be an Indian, Chinese, or ASEAN citizen.
  • list items Age: Students must be between the ages of 17 and 19.
  • list items Academic Qualification: Must have completed Matriculation a year before the application year.
  • list items A strong academic record is required. They must have obtained at least 85% or a minimum of Grade A in English as their first language.

    What is the application process for the Sia Youth Scholarship?

    The SIA youth scholarship application process is entirely online, and any other form is disqualified. Applications can be submitted through the official scholarship website.

    Before submitting the documents, candidates must log in with their email address and fill out the application form with the correct information. The following documents are required during the online application process.

  • If the original documents are not in English, a certified translation of the documents must be provided.

    What are the documents required for the Sia Youth Scholarship?

    The documents needed for the Sia Youth Scholarship are:

    What is the selection process for the Sia Youth Scholarship?

    The SIA Youth Scholarship is given to students after a three-stage selection process:

    1. Following the submission of the form, each scholarship application is subjected to initial screening for Academic record. At this point, the majority of the students are eliminated.
    2. Selected candidates take the Selection Test. Students are tested on Maths, General Ability/Mental Ability, and some English Language Questions in this section.
  • list items The admit card will be sent out two to three weeks before the exam.
  • list items The Maths section is difficult because questions of Standard 11 level are asked.
  • list items In September, the test will be held in Delhi.
  • 3. Students who pass the test are invited to an interview. Notifications are sent out one week before the interviews. The interviews will take place in October.

    Only selected candidates will be contacted further. If you do not receive any notification regarding the Test or Interview, you have most likely failed the first screening.

    The MOE Customer Service Centre (CSC) is only open by appointment. It is only for services that cannot be completed online or over the phone.

    You can change or cancel your reservation online. To make or manage your booking, you will need to provide a Singapore-registered mobile number.

    What are your plans if you are not awarded this scholarship?

    If you do not receive the scholarship, you should still have enough time to withdraw your university application or find another source of funding before the start of the semester.

    How long does it take to process a scholarship?

    Following the close of the application window, the entire process of scrutiny and scholar selection will take 3-4 months.

    Who does not qualify for a scholarship?

    Students enrolled in correspondence education, certificate programmes, or training are not eligible.
