Applicants must also fulfill coursework requirements which include: 4 years of math, 4 years of English (non-ESL), 3 years of lab sciences, 2 years of social sciences (including 1 year of American history), 2 years of the same second language, and 1 year of fine arts or career and technical education. To qualify, students need to be in the top 25% of their high school graduating class or have a 3.00 GPA in competency courses.
