If they have finished high school, ASU needs grades from 10th to 12th. Students must also have a high school diploma or certificate. For international students who completed high school outside the U.S., they must meet certain requirements: four years of math, three years of laboratory science (with one year each from areas like biology, chemistry, earth science, integrated sciences, or physics). Applicants must also have completed specific coursework, including 4 years of math, 4 years of English (non-ESL), 3 years of lab sciences, 2 years of social sciences (including 1 year of American history), 2 years of the same second language, and 1 year of fine arts or career and technical education. To be admitted, students must be in the top 25% of their high school graduating class or have a 3.00 GPA in their competency courses.
