California College of the Arts (CCA) is a private, non-profit institution located in California, USA. Founded in 1907, it focuses on art and design education. Stephen Beal has been the President of CCA since May 2008, promoting a vision that encourages students to become creative and problem-solving individuals. CCA started in Berkeley as the School of the California Guild of Arts and Crafts and has evolved through various name changes to its current title.
