Application Process for DePaul University

Step One: Additional Documents Required

• Official Transcripts and/or Secondary School Exams: If your official transcripts or secondary school exams are in a language other than English, you must provide word-for-word English translations for all pages submitted.
• Proof of English Proficiency: All students applying to the BA Animation program need to show proof of their English skills.
• Creative Statement and Portfolio: Applicants to the BA Animation program must submit a creative statement and a portfolio. The creative statement should not be an academic essay. It should be personal but still checked for spelling and grammar. It should be one to one and a half pages long and answer the following questions: What are your creative inspirations? Why do you want to study animation? Why are you applying to DePaul University? The portfolio can include scanned images, photos, videos, or stories.
