Overview

Tuskegee University is a private university located in Alabama. It was established by Lewis Adams and Booker T. Washington in 1881. The university focuses on providing a diverse education for students from different racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds.

The university is organized into five colleges and three schools. These include the College of Agriculture, Environment and Nutrition Sciences, the College of Arts and Sciences, the Andrew F. Halls for women include Douglass Hall, Emery I Hall, and others, while male halls include Banneker Hall and others. Some halls are co-ed. The university offers apartments such as the East Common Apartment and the West Common Apartment.
